Every strap is 100% hand-stitched by our leather artisans which is called saddle stitching. Unlike machine stitching, saddle stitching is more durable as it is made of two independent stitches that form a knot at every stitch.

Although machine stitching is faster which makes straps cheaper, we ONLY choose the hand-stitching to make the straps look perfect. The process of stitching and making takes almost 4 – 5 hours continuous working.

Only Premium Genuine Alligator Leather

We only use Premium Genuine Alligator Leather from famous tanneries. The tanning technique decides the finishing and durability of leather. The higher the tanning technique it is, the more luxurious feeling it brings but at the same time, the more expensive it is.

Many stores use cattle hides embossed alligator scales to make alligator leather. BUT in Kentostraps, we ONLY USE GENUINE ALLIGATOR LEATHER.

CAREFULLY CHOOSE AND CUT LEATHER PROCESS

Understanding the quality of material and preparation determine the longevity and beauty of the strap, we carefully source, select the best one to make sure the outcome strap with stunning appearance. Furthermore, only flawless, choice portions of exotic alligator leather is used.

Unlike the calf leather, exotic leathers have more varied thickness that require more care. Therefore, only skilled craftsmen works on this process.

CUSTOM MATERIAL AND COLOR LINING

Commonly our strap are lined with Zermatt leather from Haas tannery, specially developed for use as a lining material. It is soft to the touch and comfortable even after hours of wear. The leather is water- and sweat-resistant and works well even in hot and humid climate countries.

However, in many cases and in special strap orders, we can use colorful lining made from alran, epsom,togo leather to improve the mix-and-match appearance.

QUICK-RELEASE SPRING BAR

Our straps come with custom-made quick-release spring bars for FREE! This makes it very easy to change out your strap – you don’t have to use any tools to do so, which is life-changing if you haven’t tried it before.

316L STAINLESS STEEL REGULAR BUCKLE

Every strap comes fitted with a 316L Stainless Steel Buckle for FREE. There are three common colors to choose from – black/gold and silver (regular use). With its brushed silver finish, it brings about a sophisticated yet durable look to the strap.

Our buckle size and shape are variable and used comprehensively to match your watch model.
